Calung Performance
Calung is a traditional Sundanese music instrument similar to angklung. Calung is played by hitting its bamboo pipes which are arranged by pentatonic music tones (da-mi-na-ti-la). The pipes are usually made out of black bamboo, but sometimes also from white bamboo. In Sunda, there are 2(two) types of Calung instruments, which are Calung Rantay and Calung Jinjing. Recently, additional of vocals becomes important feature of Calung performance.

Although Calung is popular for locals, it is not performance very often anymore. The art festival initiated by Indecon and LWG in August has specifically performed this traditional art on stage, together with other performance of local artists.
